Products description
Labventory is a fully customizable Inventory Management Software designed for the laboratory. It is based on a MySQL database with a web interface.
This software permits the management of products (reagents, solvents …), as well as laboratory equipment. In addition, the software offers management by barcode, allowing categorization of the entire stock. Users can locate various products via a web interface with high level of efficiency.
Each product is associated to one or more stock elements which in turn, have their own stock status (new, open, expired . . .). For example, the system keep tracks of the different expiration dates and automatically detects and catalogues outdated stocks based on their opening date.
The software also regularly monitors stock quantities, in order to warn laboratory managers when (preset) minimum stock limits have been reached for specific products.

By Laboratory :
- Management of user rights (username / password) : 4 levels of user profiles (superuser, laboratory manager, stock manager, stock operator) which are fully customizable on each user.
- Classification of product families and association of fields for products and stock for each family
- Organization of products and their associated stock
- Management of stock and stock status : new, open, empty, expired or discarded
- Definition of stock thresholds and mailing recipient lists for stock alerts
- Automated handling of expiry dates
- Printing of barcodes for both inventory and users
- Creation of storage location trees
- Management of shopping carts, generation of purchase orders (PDF), reception of orders product by product, entry of the received stock, administration of account numbers for the orders (OTP), history of orders, etc.
- Management of equipment (label printing / management of up to 3 levels of qualification, including alerts by mail)
Management functions common to all laboratories :
- Management of fields that compose the products and the stocks
- Complete control over the list of units associated (e.g. packaging volumes, foreign currencies . . .)
- Administration of provider lists
- Event history (logs, use of stock, equipment qualification)
